Job Title: Legal Counsel

Department: PMO

Working Arrangement: On-site (BSD City)

 

Information About The Role

As a Manager, Legal Counsel, you will be responsible for managing Tada’s legal and compliance risks, ensuring that business activities and operations comply with applicable laws and regulations.

You will work closely with business and functional teams to identify and mitigate legal risks, while drafting, reviewing, and negotiating agreements and handling legal matters across Tada. The role is expected to take ownership of legal risks and help the business move forward while protecting Tada’s interests.

 

Key Responsibility

  • Own Tada’s contract lifecycle; draft, review, revise, negotiate, execute, and maintain commercial agreements, ensuring they protect Tada’s interests and meet internal requirements.
  • Own legal and regulatory risk management, including identifying and mitigating contractual, regulatory, and cross-border risks arising from Tada’s operations.
  • Manage corporate legal and compliance matters, including licenses, permits, registrations, and required legal documentation.
  • Ensure legal readiness and compliance by monitoring relevant legal, regulatory, and tax developments and translating them into required business actions.
  • Manage legal governance and documentation, including contract templates, repositories, policies, and compliance processes.
  • Represent and coordinate for Tada on legal matters, working with business teams, government authorities, notaries, external counsel, and relevant industry forums or conferences.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Law.
  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience as an in-house legal counsel or law firm associate, preferably in technology, IT, or B2B SaaS businesses.
  • Strong knowledge of Indonesian commercial law, with experience in corporate matters, PMA, and dispute/litigation matters. Exposure to regional and cross-border commercial legal matters is a plus.
  • Experience in commercial contracts, intellectual property, employment law, data privacy, and technology-related regulations.
  • Good understanding of Personal Data Protection (PDP) requirements, information security, and relevant technology compliance frameworks, with exposure to ISO 27001 or other ISO standards preferred.
  • Ability to identify and manage legal, regulatory, contractual, tax, and cross-border risks, and translate them into practical actions for the business.
  • Strong communication, analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills, with high integrity, ownership, and attention to detail.
  • Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia and English, both written and spoken.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace, with familiarity with relevant government platforms such as OSS and PSE.
  • Willing to be based in Tangerang and work with Tada’s regional operations and stakeholders.
