Job Title: VP of Finance, Accounting & Tax

Information about the role:

You’ll be the financial backbone of the company, guiding key decisions, shaping long-term strategy, and ensuring every move supports sustainable growth. This role blends strategic leadership with hands-on execution. You’ll build a strong financial foundation, lead forecasting and fundraising, and partner closely with the leadership team to turn insights into action.

Key Responsibility

  • Shape the financial strategy

Define and execute financial plans that drive growth, from optimizing capital structure and fundraising to building pricing and long-term value strategies.

  • Drive performance and insight

Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to help the company anticipate opportunities, manage risks, and make informed decisions.

  • Own financial reporting

Deliver accurate and timely reports, financial statements, and analyses that strengthen decision-making and accountability.

  • Lead planning and control

Oversee P&L, cost management, and performance tracking to ensure financial discipline across the organization.

  • Be a true business partner

Collaborate closely with internal teams, product, operations, and leadership to align financial performance with business goals.

  • Ensure accuracy and compliance

Maintain strong accounting practices: accrual entries, reconciliations, tax compliance, and payroll oversight.

  • Manage relationships

Build trust and credibility with auditors, regulators, investors, and financial partners.

  • Strengthen governance and risk management

Implement robust internal controls and frameworks to safeguard financial integrity and minimize risks.

Requirements:

  • A positive, proactive mindset with a strong drive for improvement.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business (preferably from a reputable or overseas university).
  • 8–10 years of experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven background in top-tier management or accounting firms.
  • Demonstrated success in fundraising and capital strategy.
  • A hands-on approach with strong attention to detail and a strategic perspective.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and leadership skills.
  • A collaborative, solution-oriented attitude that thrives in a fast-paced environment.
